We are seeking a dedicated and experienced live-out nanny to provide exceptional care for our two daughters, aged 4 and 10 months, on a part-time basis. The nanny will be responsible for the children's well-being, developmental needs, and educational activities. This position requires flexibility to accommodate the parents' medical shift patterns and occasional extended hours.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nurturing and attentive care for a 4-year-old girl and a 10-month-old baby girl.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for the children's growth and development.
- Support the baby's early years development through age-appropriate activities and interactions.
- Assist the older child with schoolwork and engage in educational activities.
- Manage the children's daily routines, including morning preparation, school drop-off/pick-up, meal times, playtime, and bedtime routines.
- Accompany the children on outings and supervise outdoor activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for both children, considering any dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including children's laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up toys and bedrooms.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's progress, needs, and daily activities.
- Adapt working hours occasionally to accommodate the parents' shift patterns and extended working hours.
- Provide full-time care for both children during school holidays, ensuring a balance of activities and relaxation.
- Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider, with a strong understanding of child development and early education.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with children and parents effectively.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and occasional extended hours.
- First aid certification and background in early childhood education preferred.
- Non-smoker and comfortable with pets if applicable.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Working three days a week from 7 am to 7 pm, with flexibility for occasional extended hours.
- Workdays are typically weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday), with additional hours during school holidays.
- Occasional adjustment of working hours to 7 am - 9 pm based on parents' out-of-hours work schedule.
