Teaching AssistantFromeSeptemberPay : £21,731 - £33,902I am looking for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting students in secondary schools, with positions starting in September. The role would be perfect for individuals who enjoy working closely with young people, helping to build confidence, improve engagement , and provide targeted learning support in and out the classroom.You will be working alongside subject teachers to support students with their learning and development. Class support, small group intervention or assisting with pastoral care will be part of this. The opportunities suit those with previous secondary school experience, graduates exploring a career in education or individuals with a background in care.If you are enthusiastic and keen to make a positive impact in a school, this may be the role for you!Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of lessons
  • Lead small-group support sessions.
  • Help manage classroom resources.
  • Cover lessons when required under direction
  • Work with teachers to track and support pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff
Requirements :
  • Confident, reliable and able to follow instructions
  • Flexible and a positive approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working in secondary schools
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
