This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and an in-depth knowledge of analytical techniques.If you have the expertise and enthusiasm to excel in this role, we’d love to hear from you - read on for more details!About the PositionShift: 40 hours per week, Monday to FridaySalary: £30,044Location: ChatterisContract: Full Time, PermanentThe day to dayEnsure that analytical methods in routine use are performing effectively, efficiently and safelyWork with the Technical Project Manager to identify areas for improvement, provide ideas and solutionsPerform verification and validation of analytical methods and equipmentProtocol and Report writingTroubleshoot and problem-solveEvaluate dataWork with the Quality Team on PT scheme performanceAssist in audits and method reviewsAssist with quality investigationsThe EssentialsMinimum of degree or equivalent in chemistry or related fieldStrong technical skills and significant laboratory experience, preferably within food chemistry, including method development and validationComprehensive understanding of Quality Management Systems, ideally ISO:17025Flexible approach and the desire to achieve continuous improvementEvaluate critically and draw conclusions from scientific and other dataProficient user of Microsoft Office programmesGood organisational skillsCommitted to safety and complianceWorking at ALS
