Strong Group Recruitment are recruiting an Electrical Supervisor on behalf of our client. The role involves overseeing a team of electricians, liaising with clients, preparing estimates, and managing electrical project works. You will supervise installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical equipment, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and to industry standards.Salary: £53,000 per annum + benefits
Contract Type: Permanent (direct with client)
Location: Predominantly Westminster (other contracts as required)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 42.5 hours per week (08:00-17:00, with 30 min unpaid lunch)Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day supervision of engineers and apprentices
  • Surveying installations and preparing reports/estimates
  • Preparing and submitting electrical work quotations
  • Overseeing and carrying out repairs and remedial works
  • Organising and managing domestic & commercial installations
  • Fault diagnostics, testing, inspections, and thermal imaging surveys
  • Ensuring compliance with current British Standards
  • Reporting daily to the Contract Manager on status, resources, and issues
  • Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, plant, and equipment
Candidate Specification
  • Be an Approved Electrician with testing qualifications
  • Ideally have previous Qualified Supervisor experience (not essential)
  • Be able to plan, manage, and supervise electrical installations
  • Have experience in estimating and compiling costs from schedules of rates
  • Demonstrate strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Be confident following technical drawings, building plans, and wiring diagrams
  • Work methodically, safely, and to the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be trained/recognised to work with vulnerable persons
  • Understand the risk assessment process
  • Be willing to work in confined spaces, at height, and in varied weather conditions
Essential Qualifications / Skills
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installations
  • C&G 2391 or equivalent
  • ECS Gold Card
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Asbestos Awareness
