Monday- Friday 08:00 to 16:30.Purpose of the Post:To support the laboratory by ensuring the timely, safe, and compliant collection, transport, and initial processing of water/biological samples from designated sites to the laboratory, in line with company procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Take samples from client sites according to scheduled times.
  • Ensure all samples are correctly labelled, packaged, and handled in compliance with SOPs and relevant regulations.
  • Transport samples promptly and safely to the laboratory.
  • Log and process samples using the internal system.
  • Deliver processed samples to the appropriate laboratory for further testing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, couriers, and laboratory teams.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of safe sample handling and transport procedures.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Reliable and punctual. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (lab, healthcare, or field sampling).
