We’re looking for a General Manager for a Two door format, community led pub in Bradford. Salary up to £43k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. About the pubThe Flying Squirrel was newly refurbished in April 2025 with a £300k investment to convert the pub to our exciting new 2 Door pub concept, giving quests the choice of family friendly dining or a community wet driving pub with sports and games. Located close to Bradford city centre on a busy retail park, it has good links to M62 and M606 motorways. The pub serves a traditional Community pub food menu, with sky sports and TNT sports through the pub. There is also darts, pool and an interactive media system for putting on events and entertainment, such as Bingo, karaoke, quizzes, controlling music and TVs.The Flying Squirrel’s current average weekly sales are £16k with a 50/50 split wet to food and has a great opportunity for the right GM to increase sales through great family dining experiences and driving sports fans in when the football season is on. Outside there are 2 areas for drinking and dining, including a patio area and half patio and garden area. There is a large shared car park with the retail park, with free parking for guests.Management accommodation is available in the form of 3 double bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and lounge.Have you got what it takes?It’s true, being a Pub Manager is demanding but the people make it much more than just a job.
