We're looking for an inspiring Outdoor Instructor to join the City of Edinburgh Council's Benmore Outdoor Centre team.Your mission? To deliver high-quality adventurous activities and outdoor learning experiences for:
  • School children from Edinburgh and beyond (core)
  • Youth groups, organisations & charities (commercial)
What You'll Be DoingAs part of our experienced team, you'll plan and deliver adventurous activities with clear development opportunities and learning outcomes for every group.
  • Take groups into the wild and inspiring landscapes of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
  • Use your skills, experience, and qualifications to tailor activities and venues to meet the needs of each group
  • Play an active role in developing both yourself and the centre's future

National Governing Body Qualifications:Essential
  • Summer Mountain Leader
  • Rock Climbing instructor
  • British Canoeing Paddle Sport Instructor & Touring leader or equivalents
  • British Cycling Level 2 or equivalent

  • RYA Dingy Instructor
  • RYA powerboat level 2
  • D1 Minibus driving entitlement
  • Gorge walking and Caving experience
