- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve processes by updating procedures and templates.
- Mentor junior engineers and apprentices, guiding them through the modification workflow and best practices.
- Operate in line with the company's Safety Management System, Quality Management System, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.
- Promptly report any unsafe conditions, hazards, or non-conformities to maintain a safe working environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality when handling technical data and sensitive export-controlled information.
- Proven experience delivering aircraft maintenance or modification projects within a regulated aviation environment, such as design, production, airworthiness, or maintenance organisations.
- Strong working knowledge of UK and European aviation regulations, including design and maintenance standards.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex aircraft upgrades, such as avionics, cabin systems, or mission equipment, ideally involving certification processes.
- Proficient in project planning and scheduling tools (e.g. Microsoft Project or Primavera), with experience managing configuration and document control systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across technical and regulatory teams.
- Degree-qualified in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc), or equivalent practical experience in a relevant technical discipline.
