The Behavioural Support Assistant will play a key role in supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs. Responsibilities include:Implementing trauma-informed practices to foster a safe and supportive learning space.Delivering one-to-one and group support to help students manage behaviour and emotions effectively.Building positive, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress.Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to develop and implement effective support plans.Applying positive behaviour management strategies to help students overcome day-to-day challenges.Motivating and guiding students towards both academic and personal goals.Monitoring and recording progress, making adjustments to support plans when required.Requirements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
