No formal teaching qualifications are required – just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for making a difference.What You’ll Do:
  • Teach lessons left by the class teacher or follow a general plan, adapting as needed to meet students’ needs.
  • Work alongside teaching assistants to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and deliver pre-planned activities.
  • Gain hands-on experience that could lead to a permanent role or a path into teacher training.
  • Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and school-specific guidelines and expectations.
About You:
  • You don’t need to be a qualified teacher, but you must be dependable, compassionate, and confident working with children.
  • Previous experience with children or young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, or care roles) is a big plus.
  • Calm, patient, and positive – especially in challenging situations.
  • Flexible and ready to jump in where needed.
