These include bonus, employee support assistance and employee discounts.What you will be doing:In this role you will perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks across a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment across a plant, site or business, to ensure that manufacturing equipment is safe, available and capable for use when required, in addition you will:
  • Consistently perform asset maintenance activities in order to ensure that equipment and facilities are safe and reliable to a high performance standard.
  • Analyse equipment data to inform and implement the most effective approach towards maintenance and collect, organise, and analyse data in support of Key Performance Indicators for the Manufacturing Services Department as required.
  • Read and interpret machinery and component drawings, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical diagrams & schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogues to enable maintenance and diagnostics.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to production equipment and maintenance procedures. Research and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities with Production Staff, regularly communicating and interfacing with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, and Production Operators and Work alongside/support equipment OEM engineers as required.

  • Completed an advanced level engineering apprenticeship* and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Understanding of local and regional HSE standards and regulations.
  • Basic use of machine tools.
  • Good hydraulic background / fluid power is essential.
