- A well-established school is seeking an enthusiastic, devoted, and caring learning support assistant to work closely with children in small groups with special educational needs to support their learning and development.
- Collaborate with the class Teacher and other support staff to implement individualised learning plans and strategies for students.
- Encourage student engagement and participation during lessons promoting a sense of belonging and achievement.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment that encourages growth and independence for all students.
- A Specialist school based in Bromsgrove for children and young people aged from Reception to post 16 with moderate to complex needs with the aim of providing high quality education.
- Children have a range of diagnoses and special needs, including moderate learning difficulties, and/ or Social Emotional Mental Health issues.
- Providing a safe, positive, stimulating and challenging learning environment where all pupils’ needs are identified.
- Access a wide range of funded training and qualification opportunities in SEN education whilst gaining a breadth of experience with children of varying ages and abilities.
- Have relevant experience supporting students with autism, social, emotional, physical and learning difficulties.
- Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Are dedicated, compassionate, and eager to go the extra mile to support the students in your care.
- Can provide appropriate references and pass a DBS check.
