- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of Plumbing programmes.
- Ensure teaching and assessment meet awarding body standards and support student achievement.
- Develop and maintain teaching materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and digital resources.
- Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.
- Participate in internal moderation, assessment, and verification processes.
- Provide tutorial support, monitor student progress, and maintain effective communication with learners, parents/guardians, and employers.
- Maintain strong industry links and engage in ongoing professional development within the Plumbing and Construction sector.
- Relevant industry experience in the Plumbing and Construction sector.
- Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all ages and abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to supporting student progress and achievement.
- Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Experience in assessing and verifying vocational qualifications.
- Ability to integrate core skills such as Maths and English into vocational teaching.
