We're partnered with a fully remote, rapidly growing AI startup building large-scale ML systems - and they're looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join their team and help power high-performance inference and backend infrastructure. What they're looking for:
Strong Python development experience, especially with FastAPI and the ASGI ecosystem for building fast, scalable API
Hands-on knowledge of event-driven systems, including pub/sub messaging and distributed task queues (e.g., Celery)
Understanding of model serving patterns (REST, gRPC, async batching) and experience managing large-scale inference pipelines in production
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, and integrating with cloud platforms like Snowflake or Databricks
Experience with state management, session handling, and efficient data flows across distributed applications
Bonus if you've worked with the Kubernetes ecosystem for scalable ML deployment
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability in production systems
Understanding of authentication protocols and security best practices
Exposure to data visualization tools for presenting model outputs
Previous experience supporting tabular ML models or similar ML deployments
