You'll coordinate resource planning, operational delivery, and continuous improvement, while collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and technical teams to ensure operational excellence.Key responsibilities include:Full line management of a growing production team (up to 100 headcount)Ownership of daily operations, resource planning, and workflow coordinationImplementation of KPIs and performance management across the functionCultivating a best-in-class Health & Safety cultureDriving continuous improvement through LEAN, 5S, and other methodologiesSupporting recruitment, onboarding, and development of team leads and operatorsContributing to wider strategic decision-making as the business scalesWhat You'll Need:Degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related disciplinePrevious experience managing large teams in a fast-paced production environmentProven leadership in complex or high-growth manufacturing settingsStrong knowledge of LEAN principles, 5S and CI toolsTrack record of embedding safety-first cultures and improving operational performanceExperience with low-volume, high-precision production (preferred, not essential)Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to make decisions under pressureTo speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Ruairi McCann, Recruitment Manager at Vickerstock on 02890 313720.
