Pay Rate: £93 – £115+ per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you a confident and organised individual ready to supervise classes and ensure pupils continue to learn effectively in the absence of their teacher?GSL Education are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming school in Bawtry. In this role of CS, you will oversee classes across various subjects, maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting pupils’ engagement.As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising classes during teacher absence and following lesson plans provided.
  • Maintaining classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils’ engagement and progress across a range of subjects.
  • Assisting teaching staff with resources and administrative tasks where needed.
  • Liaising with teachers, support staff, and school leadership to report on pupil behaviour and progress.
To be successful in this role of Cover Supervisor, you should:
  • Have experience working with children in a UK school setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • Be adaptable, confident, and able to work across multiple year groups.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
