As part of one of the world's leading universities, CJBS is home to one of the largest concentrations of interdisciplinary business and management research in Europe.The Information and Library Services team plays a vital role in supporting this academic community. We provide access to a wide range of electronic resources in business and management - including e-journals, e-books, market research, news, and company data - via the Information Centre website. These resources are heavily used by students, faculty, and staff across all programmes.We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to join us as Deputy Information and Library Services Manager on a temporary basis. In this role, you will:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Information Centre
  • Supervise and support the work of the team
  • Coordinate the circulation system and maintain physical collections
  • Work closely with the Information & Library Services Manager to deliver a high-quality service (and deputise for them as required).
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience with electronic resources, reference services, collection development, and cataloguing
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training sessions/presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills
  • Creative and practical approach to problem-solving
  • Business knowledge or experience is desirable but not essential
