This strategic shift will involve expanding our offerings to provide comprehensive, all-encompassing financial advice that meets the diverse needs of our clients. As part of this transition, they are considering rebranding to better reflect the broader scope and ambitions. We firmly believe that within the next 5 to 10 years, there is no reason why our client cannot become one of the largest independently owned holistic financial advice firms in the country. As the Head of Operations/MD, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the firm. You'll work closely with the owner and department heads to deliver outstanding operational results, drive business development, and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
This role offers you the chance to:Lead and Inspire: Oversee the smooth running of all operations while guiding, motivating, and developing a talented team of department heads.Drive Growth: Be at the forefront of scaling the business, helping to expand our client base, grow our assets under management, and introduce new and exciting product verticals.Shape the Future: Define and execute strategies that will enable our client to become one of the top 10 independently owned IFA businesses in the UK. This will include business plan and produce P&L forecasts.Influence Key Decisions: Take ownership of operational strategies and set the direction for future growth, while closely monitoring performance and ensuring alignment with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Operational Excellence: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and exceptional client service.Strategic Leadership: Champion business growth by identifying new opportunities and leading the expansion into new verticals, while also enhancing existing services.Team Leadership & Development: Lead a high-performing team, working closely with department heads to drive results and foster a culture of excellence.Recruitment & Talent Management: Take charge of recruitment efforts, building a top-tier team that supports the company's strategic objectives.Financial Oversight: Help manage the company's financial strategy to ensure sustainable growth, profitability, and resource optimization.Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that all departments are delivering against business goals.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations adhere to FCA regulations, maintaining the highest standards of governance and risk management.Business Development: Drive business growth by seeking out new market opportunities, establishing partnerships, and diversifying the product offering.What We're Looking For:
