This personalised approach means you’ll be able to make a real difference to individual learners while developing your own skills and confidence in the classroom.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality and engaging Maths lessons
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to students’ individual needs
  • Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and confident in their Maths learning
  • Build positive relationships with learners across different key stages
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as Maths clubs or enrichment workshops
  • Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning resources
Who We’re Looking ForTo thrive as a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you should have:
  • A 2:1 or higher in Mathematics or a closely related degree
  • A genuine passion for Maths and the ability to share it with young learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and supportive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • An interest in progressing into teacher training or education as a long-term career
  • Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
