What you will do:
  • Assess and treat complex neurological conditions alongside a dedicated team.
  • Provide thorough evaluations of complex cognitive deficit and design effective rehab plans.
  • Support multi-disciplinary teams with cognitive rehabilitation and develop broad programs.
  • Implement behaviour programs that positively impact cognitive functions.
  • Conduct mental capacity assessments with expertise and precision.
  • Lead and organise group work, evaluating the outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Write detailed reports that support rehabilitation progress and outcomes.
  • Assess cognitive functions in both home and inpatient environments while managing equipment like wheelchairs and splints effectively.
We are seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and HCPC registration is required. Experience in neurological settings will be an advantage, and a car driver is preferable for ease of travel between sites.Why Leicester?
