- Ensuring sport and leisure services meet community needs and are accessible to all users.
- Effective contract and budget management, ensuring required standards are achieved.
- Collaborating with Public Health to increase participation and improve wellbeing.
- Support the in-house management of community facilities.
- Develop social marketing activities to promote leisure services.
- Managing capital improvement and maintenance works as required.
- Providing expert advice on matters relating to sport and leisure service delivery.
- Working collaboratively with a range of colleagues and stakeholders
- Experience of sport and leisure operations and community-based leisure offer.
- Ability to devise and develop sport and leisure strategic outcomes.
- Strong contract, budget and project management skills.
- Ability to develop strong and effective relationships as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience of delivering projects linked to increasing access and participation levels.
- Ability to develop reports, strategies and produce visual presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- The ability to prioritise and organise a varying workload.
