The Management Accountant is responsible for all aspects of management reporting and project control. An excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial insight while supporting the FC and collaborating closely with operational teams and project staff across the business.
  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts to strict deadlines, with supporting analysis and variance investigation
  • Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts
  • Liaising with operational staff to maintain accurate sales forecasts and margin analysis
  • Monitoring and reporting on project performance against budget and forecast
  • Development and maintenance of control spreadsheets to support project analysis
  • Preparation of business cases for exceptional expenditure such as CAPEX
  • Support the creation of annual budgets with department leaders, and monitor variances throughout the year
12 -15 month FTC Growing business
  • Experience in a management accounting function
  • Experience preparing management accounts from company records
  • Experience preparing accounts from prime records
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Organised, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in excel and data analysis

  • Salary on offer is £40,000 to £45,000
  • Hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office)
  • 33 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays
