This position will be instrumental in overseeing and managing various on-site groundwork activities, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all on-site groundwork activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Assist with site preparation, site setup, and equipment management
Manage roadworks being completed by heavy equipment and machinery
Travel to site to assist and manage works being delivered
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
Problem-solve on-site issues and provide leadership to the team

Job Requirements:

Experience in highway groundwork activities and site supervision
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to manage roadworks operations involving heavy machinery
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed
Relevant qualifications in construction or engineering disciplines are advantageous
