This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to manage and facilitate the accurate preparation of accounts for a wide range of OMB (owner managed business) working as a portfolio manager engaging in face2face meetings so as to maintain excellent client relations. Based in Gloucester, and within easy access to the M5.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Mentor and develop a team of junior accountants, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
  • Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Working as part of an established team dealing with Accounts/Taxation and some audits.
Successful Regional firm excellent reputation​Opportunity to join a friendly and professional teamSuccessful Accountant should have:
  • A degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or part qualified and therefore qualified by experience.
  • Proven working experience in the professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and finance software.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
