We are seeking an experienced Finance Consultant to support a six-month assignment focused on resolving debit balances within the Accounts Payable Ledger. The role will play a critical part in strengthening cashflow management and ensuring financial records are accurate, up to date, and fully reconciled. This role will be based in Dyce and offers hybrid working.Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the resolution of debit balances across the Accounts Payable Ledger.
  • Ensuring cashflow reporting is accurate by bringing ledgers fully up to date.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to identify, investigate, and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Applying auditing and financial control practices to support ledger accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing and delivering a defined "clean-up" project to agreed timelines and standards.
  • Providing clear reporting and progressing updates to senior management.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Demonstrated success in financial remediation or ledger "clean-up" projects.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes and cashflow management.
  • Experience of working with audit and financial controls frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues collaboratively.
