We’re recruiting candidates with previous experience as a warehouse operative for our client based in the Ashton-Under-Lyne area that specialises in manufacturing soft furnishing, who can work Monday to Friday fixed morning shifts, 6 am – 2 pm.
The warehouse operative role involves setting up the machines, moving stock into the production from the warehouse to set up the lines and machines to ensure the operation runs smoothly and hit the daily and monthly targets. The role involve reading product codes and match the requirements to ensure the machines and lines are set up correctly. The role will involve manually handle a pallet truck and other tools to set up the lines.THE PERSON
A successful warehouse operative will have previous experience working in a similar environment or a production working with machine operation. Comfortable with reading product codes and instructions to set up the lines, manually handle products and material of various sizes and weights. You must be comfortable learning new skills to operate the machines and manufacture the products.
