We partner with local colleges and training providers to help them find dedicated permanent and long-term teaching staff to deliver high-quality Maths education.About the Role:
As an Maths GCSE and Functional Skills teacher, you will:Deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths, tailored to meet the needs of diverse learnersPlan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with awarding body requirementsProvide clear, constructive feedback to help learners develop essential reading, writing, and communication skillsMaintain accurate records of student progress and attendanceWork collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and innovative teaching approachesContribute to the wider college community and ongoing professional developmentEssential Requirements:Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)Strong subject knowledge in Maths up to GCSE levelExperience teaching GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills Maths, ideally within a further education settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA genuine passion for supporting students from diverse backgroundsDesirable:Experience working in further education or adult learningAbility to inspire and motivate learners with creative and inclusive teaching strategiesWhat We Offer:A supportive recruitment process to help you find the right permanent or lo
