Now, we’re looking for an experienced Motion Designer with Branding experience and a 2d and Editing focus to join our busy team. You will be working at a midweight level with ambition to move into a senior role.RequirementsThe RoleThis isn’t just about making things look slick (though you’ll do that too). It’s about motion-first brand thinking, creating best-in-class work for the biggest brands in the world. You’ll help to define and deliver 2d motion design that elevates narratives, builds identities, and pushes creative boundaries across every touchpoint.What You’ll Do (if not immediately, in the near future):
  • Lead Motion Projects – Own the process from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Craft 2D Motion & Brand Films – Create engaging motion design and edit films that bring brands to life.
  • Elevate the Team – Bring ideas and provocations, pushing creative quality and growth.
  • Innovate & Experiment – Stay ahead of trends, refine techniques, and shape our motion offering
Great motion design doesn’t happen in a vacuum. At JKR, collaboration is everything:As well as being part of a super collaborative team of Motion designers (2d and 3d) led by a dedicated Motion Creative Director, you’ll be working side by side with strategists, designers, writers, and clients, ensuring motion is woven into the very fabric of brand thinking. From early-stage ideation to final execution, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that thrives on pushing each other further.At JKR, every voice counts. You’ll be part of a team that challenges, inspires, and supports each other, creating work that moves people—and the industry—forward.What You’ll Need:
  • 2-3+ years of experience in motion design, with a portfolio that excites and inspires, we want to see your side projects and your commercial work
  • Strong capabilities in required software; Adobe suite with a focus on Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro. Knowledge of 3D software; Cinema 4D + Redshift would be useful
  • A strong understanding of brand systems and how to apply them in motion design.
  • The ability to communicate ideas with clarity, confidence, and a little bit of magic.
  • An obsession with craft, from typography to timing, always striving for the best.
  • The drive to push past expectations and create work that defines industries.
We are specifically looking for applications from candidates whose portfolio work is inline with our strong brand ideas thinking in motion which closely reflects the focus of our current projects, particularly within in consumer brands. We'd love to see case studies on your conceptual thinking and how motion translates into wider design systems. To align with the team set up we are looking for someone with solid experience who is still looking to grow and comes with exciting ideas on how, what and where Motion as a field is developing.Why JKR?We don’t just make brands move—we make them mean something.
