Duration: Contract to end of March 2026Inside IR35 - Rate up tp £475 per dayOur public sector client are looking for an AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer for a 6 month contract. You will design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure cloud environments, as well as hybrid on-premises platforms (Windows/Linux, VMware).You will work openly and collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including third party service providers, to provide expertise and develop architectural solutions.This role will be instrumental in driving their technology strategy -ensuring their systems are resilient, efficient, and ready for the future.Key experience required for this role:
- Proven expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, with strong knowledge of hybrid environments.
- Strong background in Windows/Linux systems and VMware virtualisation.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices, governance, and security.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical designs.
- A forward-looking mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
