- Providing strategic advice on planning requirements, route selection and consultation processes
- Reviewing environmental statements and drafting legislation
- Supporting public inquiries and examinations
- Advising on land assembly, compensation, hybrid Bills and public law issues
- Advising on Development Consent Orders (DCOs), Transport and Works Act Orders and harbour/marine authorisations
- A qualified solicitor with at least 3 years’ experience in planning law, ideally with exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of the political and legal context of infrastructure delivery
- Passionate about the transport and energy sectors and their role in climate change mitigation
- Excellent stakeholder management and drafting skills
- Organised, proactive and committed to continuous learning and development
