My client offers exceptional career progression opportunities, giving you the platform to develop your technical skills whilst contributing directly to their business.This Site Technician position comes with readily available overtime, ensuring you can maximise your earning potential alongside a competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.This role offers you the opportunity to develop your mechanical and electrical skills through factory monitoring, maintenance activities, and technical problem-solving, whilst working as part of an integral shift team covering 24/7 operations.Key responsibilities include:
  • Carry out operational routines and inspections
  • Operate plant and equipment in accordance with operational procedures
  • Work as an integral part of the shift team ensuring safe and effective operations of the plant
  • Carry out 'frontline' maintenance activities in accordance with approved processes and procedures
  • Investigate production machinery problems and identify solutions
  • Complete pre-start checks, commissioning and de-commissioning activities
  • Complete accurate and concise shift handovers
  • Ensure safe working practices and procedures are adhered to
  • Support the Production Team Leader in preparation of safety documents
  • Assist and cover duties within the fuel and ash team
