Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hourStart Date: As soon as possibleThe RoleAs a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.- Deliver tailored interventions and small-group activities to help pupils meet their individual targets.- Lead group sessions, teaching and supporting children with additional needs.- Provide 1:1 support where required, adapting learning materials and approaches to suit each child’s needs.- Promote positive behaviour strategies and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers to support children’s progress and wellbeing.About YouWe are looking for someone who is:- Qualified to Level 3 in Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).- Experienced in working with children with SEND, ideally within a school setting.- Skilled in using a range of strategies and resources to support personalised learning.- Patient, resilient, and committed to helping every child achieve their potential.- An excellent communicator, able to work well as part of a team.What We Offer- A welcoming, supportive, and inclusive school community.- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.- The chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.How to ApplyIf you are interested in this role, and have relevant SEN experience, please apply with your CV outlining all your experience.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
