
Shipping Coordinator (15 month Fixed Term Contract)

- Responsibility for & ownership of onward delivery processes
- Ensuring deliveries are completed on time
- Providing business updates on shipments to support revenue recognition
- Managing supporting shipping and banking documentation
- Managing Ad hoc shipments for manufacturing
- Import clearance
- Booking of deliveries according to customer & revenue requirements
- Ensuring all shipments are commercially clear & compliant with export controls
- Updating weekly report on period’s shipments
- Letters of Credit management
- Application of Chamber of Commerce documents
- Manage large OTC shipments
- Accurate Import clearance instructions to our carriers
- Ad hoc support to other team members
- Excellent Organization skills
- Understanding of product shipment procedures including awareness of incoterms
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit (not essential but preferred).
- Sound analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and third parties.
- A good demonstrable of prioritization within a multi-function role.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial departments.
- A high standard of computer literacy, including Excel/Word advance knowledge (VLOOKUP’s essential)
