Join our reception team at Mallard Medical Practice, a small and friendly GP surgery dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare to our community. As a receptionist here, you'll play a vital role in being the initial contact for our patients. You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients as required.Main duties of the jobYou will act as the central point of contact for patients, be responsible for the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaise with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.About usWe are a friendly and welcoming GP Practice in the heart of Killingworth, North Tyneside. The practice has a population of little over 5,500 registered patients. We have a small admin/reception team, 5 GPs who are supported by an excellent multi-disciplinary team of a Nurse, HCA, Physician's associate and a clinical pharmacist.
