- Develop lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Facilitate workshops, rehearsals and performances to enhance students' acting abilities and stage presence.
- Encourage students to explore various theatrical techniques, including improvisation, voice projection and characterisation.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and expressing themselves creatively.
- Collaborate with other drama teachers and staff to organise school productions, talent shows and cultural events.
- Prior experience as a drama teacher or working in a related field.
- A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a relevant discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of drama techniques, theatre history and modern theatrical practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students and build positive relationships.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds through the performing arts.
