- A professional qualification or degree in Facilities Management, or equivalent experience.
- An MBA or Masters degree in Facilities Management or a related subject (desirable)
- Membership of a professional Facilities Management body (desirable).
- Demonstrate committment to own Continued Professional Development (CPD)
- Possess a valid driving licence allowing the holder to drive in the UK. (desirable).
- Demonstrable facilities management experience/technical knowledge in the service environment at senior level.
- Proven experience in managing contractors.
- Proven people management skills and experience.
- Previous budgetary responsibilities in a service environment.
- Proven ability to work across functions and promote teamwork.
- Knowledge and implementation of Health and Safety regulations.
- Proven ability to identify and introduce best practice in all aspects of Facilities management including administration, maintenance both hard and soft services.
