Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to start at a secondary school based in Sandbach as soon as possible until Christmas. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching but wanting to gain further experience within a mainstream secondary school.About the role:
  • Immediate start upon registering with Teaching Personnel (2-3 weeks)
  • Long-term until Christmas with the opportunity to be extended
  • Opportunity to earn £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Teaching Assistant you will work within the schools SEN department working with students who require additional learning support with core subjects. You will work closely with class teachers to adapt the curriculum and learning resources to suit all needs. Additionally, you will conduct 1-1 and small group interventions with students for core subjects and emotional support.What we’re looking for:
  • Experience working with young people (in any setting)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff
  • A genuine passion for creating an inclusive learning environment
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • Safeguarding training to be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
