- Preparing and sending quotes and taking client instructions
- Opening and managing client files using our case management system
- Drafting contracts and dealing with day-to-day file progressions
- Reporting to clients on mortgage offers
- Checking search results and raising relevant enquiries
- Drafting and preparing search reports
- Completing SDLT forms and managing registrations and post-completion duties
- Handling document preparation, accounts, letters, invoices, and SDLT submissions
- Preparing for and dealing with completions
- Proven experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant
- Proactive, client-focused, and highly organised
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple files under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with conveyancing case management systems
