£89/day | Early Years | Tower Hamlets | September Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are working with a friendly primary school in Tower Hamlets who are looking for an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join their nursery team. The role will involve supporting children with emerging additional needs, including autism and global developmental delay. This school is proud of its strong family partnerships and creative EYFS provision, which Ofsted praised for ensuring every child makes excellent progress from their starting point. The school is well located with access to the DLR, Overground and bus routes, making it easily accessible for staff across East London. In this role, you will: • Support nursery children with communication and social development. • Help with sensory play, structured routines and transitions. • Use visual aids, Makaton or PECS to support understanding. • Work closely with the EYFS lead, SENDCo and parents to provide consistent support. • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. What we're looking for: • Experience working with young children, ideally in EYFS or SEN. • Knowledge of autism, global delay or speech and language delay. • A caring, patient and creative personality. • Teamwork skills and the ability to follow early years routines. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves supporting children at the very start of their school journey. If you're looking for a role where every day brings small but meaningful progress, this nursery team will give you the platform to truly shape children's early development. INDLON
