Civil Engineering contractor with long term project work in Somerset require a General Foreman to work on various projects based around Taunton, Somerset. The GF will work along side and assist the Site Manager to oversee Civil Engineering works in Somerset.Duties are supervision of ground workers, piling contractors, plant, earthworks and temporary works trades . GF's responsibilities will also include record keeping and helping to ensure work is completed within time, budget, quality and safety parameters. The selected candidate will ideally have SSSTS and CSCS and be able to demonstrate good knowledge and experience working with main contractors on projects where R.C., piling, earthworks, Temporary Works etc. are prevalent. Any experience working within Ecology or Environmental works will be looked at especially favourably.
