Our established two-year programme offers successful applicants the chance to be part of an innovative public sector organisation, experience responsibility and a variety of work activities all whilst while working towards credible qualifications.Apprentices on this 24-month programme will be assigned to the People Analytics, Governance & Systems team and alongside work activity with undertake a Data Analytics qualification at SCQF Level 8.We welcome applications from 16 – 24-year-olds, or up to 29 if you are disabled or care-experienced.About the roleThe People Analytics, Governance & Systems function are responsible for the identification, development, provision, and continuous improvement of management information (MI), data analytics and HR systems development and administration. They also support key HR systems in their day-to-day operation, maintenance and availability and ensure the integrity of data.They proactively work with the business to identify and implement ways in which information / analysis can:​​​
  • assist, provide insight and support SQA’s planning and reporting cycles to deliver Management Information for the use of senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Support the management of People Analytics shared mailbox in collaboration with the data and reporting administrator to provide 1st line support.
  • Compile data to help fulfil HR's regulatory and legislative requirements.
ResponsibilitiesOver the course of your Modern Apprenticeship, you will provide administrative support, and gain practical knowledge and experience in areas such as:
  • Providing a high level of customer service, by responding to queries quickly and accurately, and building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and recommending improvements to reporting, administrative procedures and systems.
  • Maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information, ensuring information is up to date, stored securely and readily accessible.
  • Analyse data and use key concepts, tools and technologies.
  • Produce visualisations to support effective data drive decision making.
