SEND Teacher - Special School - South Birmingham
Are you a compassionate and experienced SEND Teacher with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? A welcoming special school in South Birmingham is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to work with Key Stage 3 and 4 students with moderate learning difficulties, including Autism.This is a rewarding opportunity to join a well-established team that is committed to creating an engaging and nurturing learning environment. As a SEND Teacher you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons that support the academic, social, and emotional development of your students. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a supportive team of teachers and support staff who love what they do!Job Role:
  • Teaching a small class of Key Stage 3 and 4 students with moderate learning needs
  • Creating a calm, inclusive classroom that promotes positive behaviour and engagement
  • Developing personalised learning plans to meet the individual needs of students
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, outside agencies, and senior leaders
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
