- Case Management: Handle a complex caseload, demonstrating advanced and effective social work practices. Assess and manage significant risks, balancing support with control to ensure client safety.
- Meeting Leadership: Chair various meetings, such as Best Interests and Discharge Planning. Provide expert input at case conferences and produce high-quality assessments and reports.
- Mentorship: Exemplify best social work practices and assume responsibility for mentoring newly qualified social workers. Offer guidance and support to junior staff with managerial oversight

- Competency Demonstration: Show proficiency in the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) and Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS) competencies relevant to this social work role.
