This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking business, supporting the delivery of key highways and infrastructure services across the county.What you'll be doingAs a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in managing costs and maximising value for our projects while ensuring high standards for our customers.You will:
  • Support senior commercial colleagues and contribute to all aspects of project cost management.
  • Procure and manage subcontractors and the supply chain.
  • Measure, record, and value works in line with procedures.
  • Build up estimates and interpret drawings/specifications.
  • Collate cost and value information, preparing cost reconciliation statements.
  • Manage commercial activities in line with programmes and governance requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, customers, and stakeholders.
Who we're looking forWhat You'll BringWe're seeking someone with the passion, energy, and commitment to make a difference in local communities. You should have:
  • BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • Previous commercial experience in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Working towards (or already gained) professional membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB.
