Operate within agreed technical standards and ITIL procedures such that the technical integrity of the application environment is maintained effectively and to agreed standards. Develop and maintain an appropriate understanding of the relevant technologies to ensure that technical issues are fully addressed.
Operate within agreed application management processes, including operational liaison across the service and with suppliers around updates, coordination and delivery of upgrades, testing, configuration management and communication with the business on any impact to service continuity.
Support undertaking the fitness for purpose of applications for their assigned business applications in line with strategy and architecture.
Support the successful implementation of new functionality and ensure it is adopted by business users, applying new capability to business problems and contribute to ensuring the management of interfaces and integration of applications they support including maintenance of CMDB.
Contribute to ensuring business requirements are understood along with innovation and solutions available in the market for their assigned applications and provide timely and responsive technical support to requests and issues identified by business areas.
Continually assess application performance and identify continuous improvements for their applications
Contribute to application management processes, including operational liaison across the service and with suppliers around updates, coordination and delivery of upgrades, testing, configuration management and communication with the business on any impact to service continuity.
