1:1 Teaching Assistant - MacclesfieldAre you a caring and committed Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role supporting a child's learning and development? Whether you're an experienced TA or just starting your journey in education, Academics has exciting opportunities for 1:1 Teaching Assistants in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas!We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work closely with pupils in primary schools across Macclesfield for the new academic year. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life, with flexibility, support, and ongoing development.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
  • Build positive relationships with the pupil to support their emotional and academic development
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies
  • Assist with classroom activities and ensure the pupil is fully included in the school environment
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents (as directed)
  • Being adaptable to different needs (ASD, EHCP, SEN, Behaviour Support, Low Level Learners)
Role Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a support role with children - 1:1 experience is desirable but not essential
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Right to work in the UK
