Residential Living Recruitment have an incredible opportunity for you in the Build to Rent industry.As the Assistant Leasing Manager you will be responsible for supporting the rental performance of the development. You will be working on site, dealing with leasing enquires and support with the management of on site Lettings Administrators. With more than 400 apartments (more to come!) and many exceptional amenities on-site there is massive potential and with the right leadership this will be a flagship property with a strong resident community at it’s core.Job Title: Assistant Leasing Manager (BTR)Location: LeedsSalary: up to £37,000 per annum + BonusKey Responsibilities
  • Conduct viewings to prospective tenants
  • Oversee the referencing process to minimise any delays
  • Deal with complex lettings queries escalated from the Lettings Administrator
  • Support with the over management of the team and train new members on the lettings processes and procedures
  • Carry out regular mystery shopping to understand the local rental market
  • Assist with move in and move out reports, deposits and rent collection
  • Oversee tenancy agreements and ensure they are completed accurately
  • Support in the serving of statutory notices such as but not limited to Section 21s, Section 8s & Section 13s as appropriate
  • Provide renewal and price increase notices to residents in an accurate, friendly & compliant manner
Who we are looking for
  • Experience of working within property lettings, build to rent (BTR), purpose built student accommodation (PBSA), serviced apartments or private residential sector
  • Strong sales skills and confident in promoting the product
  • Awareness of the Renters Rights Bill and experience in handling tenancy compliance.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • ARLA Qualification – Desirable
  • Knowledge of Yardi property management system
