Production Operative with FLTFor a manufacturing company located in Macclesfield, we are seeking a Production Operative with FLT experience for a temp-to-perm position. This role requires on-site work and involves full-time hours with shift patterns from 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00. The successful candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including stock control and order picking, and must be proficient in using a forklift truck (FLT) and other equipment. What you will Do?
  • Perform warehouse tasks including picking and packing orders efficiently
  • Manage stock control and stock movements to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Load and unload vehicles using hand electric pallet trucks and FLT
  • Operate power banding tools safely and effectively as part of daily operations
  • Adapt to potential shift changes, including the incorporation of night shifts
Your Skills
  • Proven warehouse experience with a focus on operational efficiency
  • Competency in using a forklift truck (FLT) for loading and unloading tasks
  • Ability to work in shifts, including early morning and late evening hours
  • Proficiency in computer operations to manage inventory and order systems
  • Experience with power banding tools and other warehouse equipment
