Salary: Up to £53,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)in Guildford is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We are excited to offer an opportunity for two Specialist Nurses to join the dedicated Oncology team. We are currently recruiting for the following roles:
- 1 x Specialist Nurse – Breast Cancer: This role involves working across both the medical and surgical pathways for breast cancer patients.
- 1 x Specialist Nurse – Chemotherapy: This nurse will manage the UKONS telephone triage service, liaise with tumour-specific Clinical Nurse Specialists, and provide support based on service needs, including coordinating patient care.
- Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based care within your area of specialism, acting as a clinical expert and role model.
- Support assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of patients with complex or long-term conditions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care pathways and protocols based on national guidelines and best practice.
- Provide education, support, and counselling to patients and families, empowering them to understand and manage their health conditions.
- Act as a key contact for patients, ensuring consistent, coordinated care throughout their treatment journey.
- Signpost to additional services and resources to support holistic care.
- Registered Nurse (Adult, Child, or Mental Health, depending on specialty) with valid NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration experience in the relevant specialty area.
- Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills within a defined field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
