Job Role: Hygiene Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
Salary: £12.21-£12.40 per hour
Role Type: Temporarygap personnel acting as an employment business are currently recruiting X2 Hygiene Operatives for our fast growing manufacturing client, based in Bristol, BS30.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks across production and non-production areas, including machinery, tools, floors, walls, and surfaces
- Ensure cleaning is completed to required food safety standards (in line with HACCP, BRC, or internal policies)
- Dismantle and deep-clean food processing equipment as required
- Follow COSHH procedures and use chemicals safely and correctly
- Complete hygiene records accurately and report any issues to supervisors
- Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role within a food production or manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Awareness of food safety and hygiene standards
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and working in a factory environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, with good attention to detail
